Dear Manuel,
I am so sorry not to have written to you sooner. Katie and Jazz arrived with no problems at all about a month ago. The Italian vet never managed to find their chips, but didn't say anything to the airport authorities, and the British vet at Heathrow found them right away. The dogs are in wonderful shape, especially Katie (Jazzie got a bit plump in Italy, as she was the favorite of the couple who looked after them. Katie is slim and as alert and fast as a greyhound. Jazzie has lost a bit of weight with us and streaks after her as fast as she can. We live in a house with no real garden in the center of London. There is a little park where we take them four or five times each day that is especially for dogs to do their business.

They have been impeccable so far. Each day Robin takes them to Battersea Park, a huge area on the river with many fields and lots of woods and brush where they run their little heads off. Katie has gone back to being a sporting dog and heads for cover at every opportunity. Jazz is far more obedient, and streaks across open fields and barks at the tennis courts but always comes back.
